Founded in 2017, Foxground Consulting Engineers is a boutique consulting firm specialising in structural and mechanical engineering. Our services include Engineering Verification & Certification, Advanced Engineering Analysis, 3D Modelling & Drafting, 3D Laser Scanning, and Project Management & Front-End Engineering Design. Our office is in Kiama on the South Coast of New South Wales.

Our Team
Our team consists of structural and mechanical professional engineers and design practitioners. The team is led by Andrew Reid and Adam Jackman who each have 25+ years’ experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and mining projects.
Andrew Reid Principal Structural and Mechanical Engineering
Andrew is a Professional Structural and Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years’ engineering and design experience. He holds post-graduate degrees in both Structural and Mechanical Engineering. Andrew has extensive experience designing commercial and residential buildings, pressure vessels, tanks, pressure piping, cranes and various other mechanical equipment and structures.
Andrew is also a qualified project manager and managed numerous engineering and construction projects prior to founding Foxground Consulting Engineers. These included manufacturing and processing plant upgrades, bulk materials handling equipment upgrades, and various other brownfield and greenfield civil, manufacturing and mining projects.
In addition to managing the team at Foxground Consulting Engineers, Andrew provides engineering and project management advice to some of Australia’s leading manufacturing and mining companies. This includes advice on front-end engineering design, construction methodologies, project feasibility and scoping, project contracting and execution strategies, and so forth.
Adam Jackman Principal Design Draftsperson
Adam is a Senior Mechanical and Structural Design Draftsperson with an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 25 years’ modelling and drafting experience using numerous 2D and 3D CAD and BIM software platforms. Adam is an experienced CAD Manager with several years’ experience managing design teams and design offices.
Adam also oversees Foxground Consulting Engineer’s 3D scanning service. This includes overseeing the point cloud integration in our CAD and BIM models.
